Gaudí Kids
Gaudí's mosaic, made with chocolate
Learning through play, the Gaudí way
Antoni Gaudí revolutionised Barcelona with trencadís, mosaic made from broken ceramic pieces. With Ragnia, the youngest members of the family discover that same technique, with a twist that makes it irresistible to them: instead of ceramic, they work with chocolate.
The technique: the same one Gaudí used, adapted for children
Guided by chocolate art professionals, children follow the same creative process Gaudí used in the early 20th century, combining textures and techniques to shape their own mosaic.
The creation: a keepsake to take home
At the end, each child takes home their piece: a tangible memory of an afternoon where art, play and chocolate blend together, learning without it feeling like a lesson.
What's included
● A private workshop guided by chocolate art professionals
● Creating a chocolate trencadís mosaic, Gaudí's original technique
● Children take their creation home
● Duration: 1 hour 30 minuts
Who it's for
Designed for the whole family, with children at the centre. The pace and difficulty adapt to their age, so it works just as well for a birthday as for a different kind of afternoon in Barcelona.
